Gwen Tackett

Vessels of Honor – Overcoming the Effects of Abuse

Pastor Gwen Tackett will be teaching on the powerful principles of God’s Word in dealing with the unique concerns of abuse, with an emphasis on personal healing.  Pastor Gwen and her husband conduct seminars, classes and workshops regarding Vessels of Honor at churches all over. This session is for those that have suffered the effects of abuse as well as those who desire to minister to those broken by the pain of abuse.

Gwen Tackett joined Victorville First Assembly Lead Team in January, 2009, and serve as the Pastors of Marriage/Family Ministries and Counseling. directs the Women's Ministries. Pastor Gwen and her husband are the founders and directors of Vessels of Honor - ministering the healing power of Jesus Christ to those who have suffered abuse.She is a NAME (the National Association of Marriage Enhancement) certified marriage counselors and has conducted the training of numerous couples for certification as well as authoring marriage curriculum. Pastor Gwen served as the Director of Ministry as well as Director of NAME Centers nationally and internationally. She has traveled all around the country assisting and conducting Together Forever Marriage Weekends. Pastor Gwen has served in several ministry leadership positions including fulltime pastoral ministry and the planting of a church. The Tackett's completed their Masters through Phoenix University of Theology.
Her testimony is one of the healing power of Jesus Christ. She has walked through some difficult marital and family situations and openly proclaim the power of Jesus to heal, restore and totally revolutionize lives.

Renee Dallas

Description:

Everywhere we turn today, we see the results of broken sexuality.  From the wife who is impacted by her husband’s use of pornography, to the sting of adultery, addiction and the increasing incidents of homosexuality hitting home.When sexual sin has hit home, what does a Christian woman do?  This workshop will address what she goes through, the repercussions, emotions and choices she’ll have to make, and will help give clarity to anyone seeking to find healing and restoration and will help give insight to those who are walking alongside them.

Renee Dallashas been involved in ministry to women since 1992 and is the founder of WifeBoat.com, a ministry which provides teaching, support and coaching to women whose marriages have been impacted by sexual sin.  She developed a heart to serve women in this way out of her own personal experience, and also through the ministry she and her husband share at Genesis Biblical Counseling, in Tustin, California. Renee currently serves on the Women’s Ministry Board and the Spiritual Formation Ministry at Newport Mesa Church in Costa Mesa, California, She is a member of National Evangelical Women in Ministry (NEWIM). In addition to running WifeBoat, Renee is a frequent guest speaker at churches and seminars. She and her husband Joe have presented workshops on marriage and relationship issues at conferences, church services and recovery-oriented meetings around the country. 

Susie Starr

"Down In My Heart"

How do we find joy in the midst of deadlines, debt, drama and daily duties? What does a life of gratitude look like when your days are gritty, long and sometimes dark? A workshop based on the book One Thousand Gifts.

Susie Starr is a gifted ventriloquist and speaker who effectively communicates the gospel to audiences of all ages.  Using her gifts of humor and music, along with a background in musical theater, Susie entertains yet presents the Biblical truths with a passion that is contagious. She is a preacher’s kid who grew up to be a preacher’s wife.  Living out the call of God upon her life since the age of 14 has been Susie’s passion and joy.  She has been a featured speaker at numerous Kid’s Camps, Women’s Retreats, and community events, as well as the co- star of the TBN’s “The Backyard.”She is the mother of two adult daughters and the grandmother of 7.  She and her husband Kim have served in pastoral ministry together for 35 years, and currently pastor Crossroads Christian Center in Rialto, California. She also serves on the Leadership Team for SoCal Women.

Gayelee resides in the San Diego area with her husband Billy and two daughters. She also serves on the Brilliance Leadership Team.
