George WoodDr. George O. Wood was elected chief executive officer of the Assemblies of God at the 52nd General Council in August 2007. Prior to his present position, Wood served the church as its general secretary for 14 years. He pastored Newport-Mesa Christian Center in Costa Mesa, California, for 17 years. The son of missionary parents to China and Tibet, Wood holds a doctoral degree in pastoral theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Mark BattersonMark is married to Lora and they have three children, Parker, Summer and Josiah. Mark was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, did a short stint in Wisconsin where he became a cheese head, and grew up in Naperville, Illinois. Mark went to the University of Chicago on a basketball scholarship and majored in pre-law. After a prayer walk through a cow pasture in 1989, he felt called to full time ministry and ended up at Central Bible College. That’s the short story. Mark also has two masters degrees from Trinity University. He is the author of ID: The True You and In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day.

He currently serves as the Missional Leadership Specialist for Leadership Network of Dallas, TX. Reggie’s past experience involves over a decade as a denominational executive and leadership development coach. He also served in local congregational leadership for over twenty years, including being the founding pastor of a new church. Reggie also contributes several podcasts monthly at www.wiredparish.com, a Christian podcasting network that offers original, exclusive and provocative content from the unconventional edge of the Christian faith. Reggie and his wife Cathy, have two daughters, Jessica and Susanna, and make their home in Columbia, South Carolina.
