The Gold Medal of Achievement

The Gold Medal of Achievement shows a great deal of effort and a tremendous achievement. When your boy earns this medal he receives a “Book of Honors” withe the following letters from:

  • The President of the United States – The Governor of California
  • The Mayor of the Boy’s City
  • The National commander – The Southern California District Superintendent – The Executive Presbyter – The Sectional Presbyter
  • The District Commander – the Pastor – the Senior Commander and many others.

The dedicated effort to earn this award symbolizes a boy’s commitment to God and his country.

Additional Gold Track Requirements

Effective September 1, 2003, Royal Rangers may earn the Gold Medal of Achievement. A Royal Ranger may earn the GMA as early as age 12 although numerous requirements must be successfully completed. All requirements for the GMA must be completed before the applicant’s 18th birthday or graduation from high school, whichever is later. A Royal Ranger may complete the necessary GMA requirements while participating in either the Adventure Rangers or Expedition Rangers programs. The GMA requirements needed appear in the Adventure Rangers or Expedition Rangers Handbooks.

Silver Medal Requirements

Effective April 1, 2003, Royal Rangers may earn the Silver Medal of Achievement. A Royal Ranger may earn the SMA in the sixth grade although numerous requirements must be successfully completed. All requirements for the SMA must be completed before the applicant’s 18th birthday or graduation from high school, whichever is later. A Royal Ranger may complete the necessary SMA requirements while participating in either the Adventure Rangers or Expedition Rangers programs. The SMA requirements needed appear in the Adventure and Expedition Ranger Handbooks.

Bronze Medal Requirements
