Regal Shop

Times are a changin' and so is the way we minister to our missionaries. For decades SoCal Women have purchased items for every area of the home and then stored those items at the District Office in a very special place called the Regal Shop. As missionaries come home on furlough (every four years they return state-side to itinerate at our churches, giving reports of the progress of their work and raising funds for cost of living increases and/or projects on the field), they don't come home with much since their life is in a far away country. One of their first stops when they return is to our office so that they can get their home situated and functioning while they are home for the year.

For the past few years the Regal Shop has been phasing out and our new focus is purchasing Gift Cards. YOU know how wonderful it is to get credit at a store and pick out things that are precisely your color scheme and need, so you can imagine what a great day it is for our missionaries as well to experience this form of generosity and thoughtfulness.
